For buildings of the same name in other Tropico games, see Restaurant.
Restaurants are entertainment buildings in Tropico 3 and Tropico 4. They provide cooked meals to hungry people, but getting food in a restaurant instead of a marketplace costs citizens money. Restaurants also serve slob and spring break tourists as well as tourist children, but eco and wealthy tourists will only eat at gourmet restaurants.
Restaurants become obsolete in 1965, when they're replaced by ship-o-rants.
