Museums of Modern Art are entertainment buildings in Tropico 4. These museums host a variety of artwork depending on the work mode they're set to. Wealthy tourists (and, strangely, slob tourists) enjoy visiting art museums.
Work Modes[]
- Show Foreign Art: The museum displays famous artwork from around the world. This is expensive, raising the upkeep to $72/month, but it increases the service quality by 20.
- Promote Tropican Art: The museum displays artwork produced by the island's citizens, providing a bit of money every year as artwork is sold to foreign collectors.
- Abstract Art: The museum displays abstract and surreal artwork. The museum doesn't have a base service quality; instead, the service quality is completely random for each visitor, making some hate it and others love it. Visitors to abstract art museums have a chance of joining the Intellectuals.
Radio[]
Penultimo: And now it's time for your guide to the modern arts with General Rodriguez.
General Rodriguez: Listen up, maggots! This is modern art! You will love it! You will love it like your life depends on it unless it becomes mainstream! Then you should hate it! Now go in a corner and look thoughtful!
