Modern Infantry is a type of military squad in Tropico 5. This unit will replace the Infantry garrisoned in the Barracks, after choosing the "Special Training" building upgrade (unlocked in Modern Times).
The effectiveness of Modern Infantry can be increased with the Military Drills and Right To Arms edicts.
Physical appearance[]
Modern infantrymen wear uniforms identical to members of the Special Forces:
- Tactical helmet (with googles)
- Balaclava (black)
- Urban camouflage uniform
- Flak jacket (green)
- Knee pads (green)
- M16A2 assault rifle
- Sidearm
