An APC Squad is a type of military squad in Tropico 5, added in the Espionage expansion.
They are the anti-infantry division of Tropico's armored branch, while not as tough as Tanks, they are faster and specialize in neutralizing infantry threats. These vehicles are first available in the Cold War era, and when they're not battling against traitors, invaders, rioters or rebels they are kept away in the Mechanized Garrison. In Modern Times their cannons can be replaced by High Velocity Machine-Guns, upgrading their attack noticeably.
Physical Appearance[]
APCs are modeled after the Romanian RN-94 APC, with some resemblance to the larger Soviet BTR-80 also. They have the Tropican Sun painted on their muzzle and on both sides of their back, along with some green parts on the back of their roof.
