Cuban Soldiers in Africa is a Timeline Event that can occur between 1971 and 1974.

While the event is happening, several soldiers on the island may leave every time a ship arrives to join their Cuban allies in Africa.

The South African Border War was a conflict between Angola (seeking independence) and South Africa (seeking to retain control over southwest Africa, which Angola was supporting against them). Both sides of the conflict were aided by other countries; Angola was supported by Cuba and the USSR while South Africa was supported by the US and China. Cuban soldiers played a major part in helping the nation's Marxist-Leninist movement defeat the anti-communists in a civil war and combating the South Africans.
