Childhood museums are entertainment buildings in Tropico 3 and Tropico 4. Though it's billed as the "authentic" house where the presidente was born and raised, the fact that it's built during the presidente's adult life and that multiple versions of such 'childhood homes' can be built suggests that it's merely propaganda or a con for foreigners. Regardless, the island's citizens, slob and spring break tourists, as well as tourists' children enjoy shopping in the museum's gift shop.
Because the building allows for such heavy focus on the presidente's personal life and history, having at least one childhood museum is the first demand the Loyalists give.
- Loudspeakers: The constant blaring of propaganda within the museum raises the respect of all visitors by 10.
- Retirement Fund: All the proceeds the museum receives from visitors is wired to the presidente's Swiss bank account instead of the island's treasury. Since respect is currently useless as far as tourists are involved, this is a good work mode for a childhood museum placed in a tourist heavy area.
